I was initially working as a kitchen designer for another company when a customer suggested I start my own business. I mentioned it to my husband and without letting me know, he started working out a business plan. Eventually we found a place, I quit my job, and we started the business. It was very nerve-wracking; we used all our savings and we had a 3 year old at the time.
The first clinic started as part of a Catholic health complex. The building is called the Santa Teresita Medical Center and is run by the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. Upfront everything ran smoothly then covid inserted itself during our ordering and receiving of $22k cabinets for our new kitchen.We received partial shipments, which were wrong. A few of these Divine corrected and made right but we never got our entire order fulfilled and never got a refund on it.It equalled a few thousand dollars.
Glamour kitchens are designed to harmoniously combine beauty and functionality to create a durable kitchen. On May 24, 2019, the center had its formal start with a blessing by Bishop David O’Connell. Bishop O’Connell is an auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles where the clinic is located, and a member of its board. Our programs are designed specifically to highly develop your creativity, skills and knowledge, and prepare your unique brand to succeed in the Global Marketplace.
Not all showrooms will allow visits by unaccompanied clients, so please check with the showroom in advance. Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, FAIA, the beautifully landscaped, 14-acre campus is located in the City of West Hollywood, CA. Pacific Design Center’s “Blue Whale” opened in 1975 at 750,000 square-feet.
